Labour Preparation with Acupuncture:
A pre-labour acupuncture protocol can assist you. There are acupuncture point combinations which can be used to actually stimulate contractions of the uterus. A preventative approach can gently eases the body towards going into labour on its own, as opposed to simply stimulating uterine contractions. The goal is to begin at 36 weeks and continue once per week until labour starts, thus allowing the cervical ripening, increase of blood flow, enhance muscle relaxation, all supporting the body and mind connection.
